Quick Weight Loss 3 Day Detox

Detoxing your body is an important part of good health. If you are trying to lose weight, detoxing may be recommended. If you are looking for a quick fix it is not recommended; however, there are a few three-day detoxes that may be helpful along with a healthy eating plan after a detoxification.

Detoxing and Your Health

Every one should detox for a time. Some should detox more than others. If you are trying to lose weight or just get a better control of your health, Detoxing will elevate the excess of toxins that may be backed up in your body.

We become toxic through the processed foods we eat, the chemicals we use, the lack of water intake, and the lack of fiber intake and so much more. We should detox every so often.

To prepare for a three-day detox you should have your plan ready. This includes foods, juices, and herbal teas if your plan calls for them. You may even want to be home for these three days because you may not know how your body will react to your detox plan and may find it necessary to stay close to a rest room.

Day One:

As soon as you wake up drink a large glass or bottle of water. This will get the digestive bolus moving. Obese people are dehydrated, so drink a half to one gallon of water throughout the day.

    Breakfast:
Have one to two servings of fresh fruit. Choices may be pears, grapefruit, apples, bananas, or some grapes.
Fifteen to twenty minutes later have a bowl of whole grains. Choices may be millet, oatmeal, brown rice, buck wheat. To add a little flavoring use a teaspoon of extra virgin raw coconut oil. This is one of those good fats that will stimulate your metabolism and improve digestion.

    Lunch:
Have a bowl of steamed vegetables up to four cups. You may choice from potatoes, green beans, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, beets, and cabbage. Have a cup of organic green tea. Keep and drink the water from the steamed vegetables as well.

    Dinner:
Dinner should be between five and six pm. And you will have another bowl of steamed vegetables with a teaspoon of the coconut oil. You can have a cup of caffeine-free tea.

Day two and three will be repeated the same way.

Other things you can add to your diet may include a tablespoon of organic apple cider vinegar three times a day. This will stimulate metabolism and cleans the internal organs.

The use of cinnamon can help regulate insulin and blood sugar.

A Word of Caution:

Before you do a detox you should talk with your doctor or a natural health professional. You should also understand that even though most detoxes have been proven safe, it may not be for you. Every body reacts differently. If some thing doesn't feel right stop, but remember you are detoxing so you're not going to feel wonderful.
